Tutorial Centre
Colibri Learning Foundation prepares young people—between the ages of 12 and 18—to excel in high school and continue on to tertiary education.
We assist students to strengthen academic commitment, enhance performance, and develop the habits of an orderly mind. We facilitate an environment where youth study together in groups and are mentored to advance in the areas of mathematics, science, technology, and language (vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking).
As young people move between the ages of 12 and 18, they gradually leave behind the habits of childhood and must prepare to take leadership roles in their families and communities. The Tutorial Centre offers a program that goes beyond the mechanics of reading, writing, and math to explore themes and concepts relevant to this crucial transition, such as the purpose of education and service to the community.
We strive to foster natural curiosity, a thirst for knowledge, and habits of thought that enable sound thinking and academic achievement.
